Death's Door Dance Festival

Studio K’s Death’s Door Dance Festival (DDDF) will host April Sellers Dance Collective (ASDC) from June 25 – 28th 2024 in Door County, Wisconsin. The project will culminate in live performance of Rumble Strips with community engagement and extensive online activities to reach audiences in person and virtually. While the work will be accessible to all audiences, primary focus will be placed on reaching rural queer communities.

Community connections are going well; including Northern Door Pride, Door County Amplify and Northern Door Activists. Lawrence University's Björklunden is to host an event on July 28th- Coffee & Conversation- Gender in Performance: a KIKI with April Sellers Dance Collective. April Sellers Dance Collective will guide a community reflection and dialogue centering on the evolutions of gender in dance and performance. Coffee & Conversation welcomes artists, allies, advocates and all.
