UtahPresents at University of Utah is continuing to explore presenting Arms Around America in 2025-26. Dan Froot and Krysta Gonzalez from Dan Froot & Company made a visit to Salt Lake City last fall, which was very fruitful. They were able to meet with several key individuals in local gun culture. However, due to timing, they were not able to meet with many of our campus partners, who have expressed interest in the project. UtahPresents’ assessment is that having campus buy-in will be critical to the success of Arms Around America in Salt Lake, partly because of the nature of the discussion catalyzed by the work and because we are in a politically conservative state. This second visit will connect Dan with multiple partners on campus to discuss the possibility of bringing Arms Around America to Salt Lake.
