Strand Theatre

The Strand Theatre in Rockland, Maine will present Boston Dance Theater for a performance of their “Pinnacle Works” on Saturday, February 8, 2025. The dance company will also offer a masterclass to local young adult dancers, called “Contemporary Technique and Repertory Workshop.” This workshop, offered at no cost to participants, will teach choreography from one of the pieces in “Pinnacle Works” as well as Boston Dance Theater’s signature contemporary styles, informed by Israeli and European forms.

“Pinnacle Works” is one of Boston Dance Theater’s newest touring pieces, showcasing the talents of Boston-based dancers performing “If As If” by Itzik Galili (The Netherlands, Israel), “Affi” and “Firebird” by Marco Goecke (Germany), and “Awa” and “Delicate Blue” by Alessandro Sousa Pereira (Brazil, Denmark).
