Continuum Dance Project

Continuum Dance Project (CDP) is applying for support of a 4 day residency at Cope Farm in Cherry Hill New Jersey in June 2025. During this residency, CDP will focus on the continuation of their newest untitled work, examining the relationship between humans and the environment. In 2023 Continuum Dance Project was invited by the Cope family to explore ideas for a residency. While researching their newest project, CDP realized Cope Farm would be an ideal opportunity to further their exploration of human reciprocity with nature. The new work, which utilizes projection and lighting to bring the outdoors inside, began during a 2024 residency at The Earl Center for Innovation and Learning at Boston University. During the proposed Cope Farm residency, CDP company members will gain insight and inspiration from nature by rehearsing, living, and working on the farm. Continuum Dance Project will spend time completing farm chores, rehearsing outdoors, and harvesting/preparing meals together.
