Coker University welcomes KM Dance Project in residency Nov. 7-13, 2024. On Thursday, Nov. 7, KM Dance Project Associate Artistic Director will arrive on campus. On Friday, Nov. 8, Associate Artistic Director (AAD) will teach a master class/audition for all dance majors and minors. From this class, the AAD will cast dancers to learn original choreography. This choreographic residency will run Nov. 8 4-9pm, Nov. 9 10am-5pm, and Nov. 10 10am-4pm. The entire company arrives on Saturday, Nov. 9. On Sunday, Nov. 10, KM Dance Project will teach community workshop titled, Roll Wit It, based in New Orleans vernacular dance. This workshop is free and open to the entire community. KM Dance Project will be in technical rehearsals on Sunday, Nov. 10 and Monday, Nov. 11. KM Dance Project will present Raw Fruit on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 7:30pm in the Watson Theater. The company departs on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
