Paloma McGregor | Angela's Pulse

Paloma returned to Virginia Commonwealth University with collaborators Christine King, Nina Angela-Mercer, Kayla Hamilton to continue developing a new community-specific iteration of Building a Better Fishtrap/A’we deh ya (All of us are here). Collaborators gathered with Richmond Cultural Bearers and Community Leaders listening to their stories, breaking bread togehter, learning and devising material in the studio at VCU Dance and at the local farm, Sankofa Community Orchard. The group will return in April 2025 to dig deeper and culminate the project with students and community members.
