Colorado College’s Theatre & Dance Dept. will present What is War in two public performances, Oct 3-4, in the Cornerstone Center for the Arts, Norberg Studio Theatre. The performances are the culmination of a creation and teaching artist residency from Dec 16-Jan 16, 2025 with Wen Hui and Eiko Otake. During the residency, while researching/creating/rehearsing What is War, they also conducted a community workshop/informal performance for seniors attending a dance class in an underserved Colorado Springs neighborhood, invited students, faculty and community members to attend three open rehearsals (sharing the work-in-progress), taught a short course, Full of Stories: Episodic Knowledge and Interdisciplinary Arts for Colorado College students and offered a public screening of their film, No Rule is Our Rule.
