Boston Classical Guitar Society

The Boston Classical Guitar Society has commissioned a work for guitar from Nicholas Vines. The premiere will take place in the New Art Gallery, preceded by an interview and Q&A session with Nicholas Vines and performer, Maarten Stragier. Additional performances are planned in Hingham Public Library, Third Life Studios and in the Guitar and Friends series. Furthermore, we are pursuing the possibility of presenting a workshop for composition students on writing for the guitar at Boston University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst
