Paul Taylor’s newest dance, The Uncommitted, set to music by Arvo Pärt with costumes by Santo Loquasto and lighting by Jennifer Tipton, explores the complex emotions of love and the impermanence of relationships. The work “is about people who don’t connect, or who can’t stay connected for very long…” The Uncommitted—a dance for 11 comprised primarily of solos and duets—will be one of three dances that make up a complete program of works by one of the world’s greatest living modern dance choreographers.
