Puppet Showplace Theatre will present National Marionette Theatre's "Pinocchio" for the July 4 long weekend. In past years, PST has not had a strong "headliner" show during its 4th of July weekend; NMT's pinocchio has excellent name recognition and the brothers are enthusiastic about trying to reach the Boston tourist crowd in addition to the typical audience. The artists will work with local puppeteers, and may also do a workshop, and PST will host a reception in their honor.
