Legendary virtuoso and MacArthur Fellow Regina Carter will tour New England performing music from her most recent album, "Southern Comfort." "Southern Comfort" features music inspired by Carter's family roots in Alabama and marries explorations of Cajun fiddle music, early gospel, and coal miner songs with her unique contemporary voice as a band leader and jazz violinist. New England partners will highlight cultural heritage and musical transformation in their engagements with Ms. Carter.
