The Yard deepens a relationship between Camille A. Brown & Dancers and the diverse island population during the TapTheYard Festival. The Yard will present MR. TOL E. RANCE in conjunction with the MV AFRICAN-AMERICAN FILM FESTIVAL in Oak Bluffs, MA, home to a historic black community (among others). The piece goes to the soul (and essential despair) of the history of images of blacks in entertainment. CABD will simultaneously work in residence at The Yard on the development of BLACK GIRL, a new CABD project, to tour beginning in 2014-2015.
