Beninese born, Grammy award winning singer songwriter, Angelque Kidjo will tour New England performing music from her new album, Eve. Urgent, intimate, celebratory and rhythmically engaging, Eve is the result of collaborations with women's choirs from Kenya and Benin. Political activist as well as musician, Ms. Kidjo is a voice for women's empowerment, while nourishing her own ever-evolving musical legacy. New England partners will highlight pan-African music and women's issues in their engagements with Ms. Kidjo.
