The DAM JAM is an annual, all-town music and arts festival held mid-summer in Denmark, Maine. There is a mix of ethnic and rock music that seems to have currency in the small town of Denmark. This year, the festival will present the Ghanaian hi-life music of the Akwaaba Ensemble (Manchester, New Hampshire) for a performance of African drumming and dancing and a drumming workshop for kids.
