STEPPES: A Crossover by Voloshky Ukranian Dance Ensemble showcases the rich folk dance tradtions of Ukraine. The production combines classical and folk dance technique to present the national character of Ukraine in a spellbinding show of art and energy. The performance is bold and powerful, clearly native to Ukrainian character, yet classical enough to be appreciated by all. Featuring some rare works of choreographers previously blacklisted by the USSR, audiences will be taken on a journey through Ukraine's rich history and current events.
