Rosy Simas will work in residence at The Culver Center/UC Riverside, April 27 to May 3, 2014, as part of an Indigenous Choreographers at Riverside project. Her team will have studio/gallery space, support, and feedback from cultural/dance scholars. Additional activities include work-in-progress, rehearsals, a public performance for both Native and Non-Native audiences. Ceremonial and educational events will precede the show; a feedback session on Simas' piece and a symposium on Indigenous dance will follow.
