Arizona State University, Gammage

ASU Gammage's presentation of City Council Meeting has involved an 18 month process of residency and producing collaboration with artists Aaron Landsman and Mallory Catlett. The result will be a theatricalized experience of civic/governmental ritual that blurs the traditional lines between theater and local government sessions. The meeting will be run by staffers, a diverse group of local participants trained by Mr. Landsman and Ms. Catlett and conducted by various audience members. Local artists will be engaged as well as performers.
