Urban Bush Women's founding artistic director Jawole Willa Jo Zollar has conceived of Walking with 'Trane: Chapter 2 as a suite of works based on the life and artistic imprint of jazz pioneer John Coltrane. This work is a music and movement journey inspired by the making of and music from Coltrane's A Love Supreme. For this project, Urban Bush Women is partnering with George Caldwell, one of modern jazz's pre-eminent players, to innovate and create new music inspired by the "A Love Supreme" poem.
