Arts Council of Tamworth

Percussionist Patiño Vàzquez will spend two days in Tamworth teaching students and residents of the area about Cuban rhythms, especially the role of clave, the Son dance form which is the basis of salsa, and the African diaspora in the Caribbean. He will be joined by his Cuban/Latin band, Los Sugar Kings, for two concerts, one at the school, one for the community at large.
