The Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago

The Center for Community Arts Partnerships at Columbia College Chicago will bring Sandglass Theater for a one-week residency in January 2015. The residency will consist of two main stage performances of “D-Generation: An Exaltation of Larks”, a workshop with Columbia College students and a workshop with hospice caretakers. D-Generation is a full-length theater piece based on stories told by people with late-stage dementia. The work is performed by three puppeteers (the caregivers) and five puppets (the residents of a care facility).
