BASETRACK is a multimedia performance based on the real words of modern day Marines and their families. BASETRACK uses photos and videos from journalists embedded with Marines in Afghanistan, a live, contemporary score by Michelle DiBucci and text adapted by Jason Grote (Mad Men, Smash) and directed by Sarah Benson (Artistic Director, Soho Rep.) to share the stories of those stationed abroad and their families as they struggle to cope with separation and the uncertainties of war.
