Western Maine Storytelling and the Farmington Public Library will feature two performances by Eshu Bumpus and Motoko: an evening show designed to illustrate the creative enrichment that comes from welcoming and blending different cultures and different artistic genres, and a morning performance for families at the library. Both shows will blend Eshu’s African-American traditions and jazz musicianship with Motoko’s Japanese traditions and mime artistry; the evening will also include material from their recent journey to Senegal.
