NEFA welcomes the Greater Boston dance community to learn more about its programs and resources and how they can work for you. NEFA staff will review the New England Presenting and Touring grant programs for artists and arts organizations based in New England. A highlight will be a presentation on CreativeGround, New England's free regional directory that spotlights professional artists, cultural nonprofits, and creative businesses and connects them with each other and those who are invested in the New England creative economy. Choreographers, companies, producers, agents, and presenting organizations are all invited to join this free, informal info session where NEFA staff from the National Dance Project (NDP), New England Presenting and Touring, and CreativeGround will be there to answer questions.
Tentative Schedule:
9:00am Coffee meet and greet
9:30am Welcome and introductions
10:00am Overview of the New England Presenting and Touring programs [NEST and Expeditions]
10:30am Demo of CreativeGround, New England’s free directory of artists, cultural nonprofits, and creative businesses
11:00am Overview of the National Dance Project
11:30am Answer questions and work one-to-one with NEFA staff on CreativeGround profiles
