Michelle Dorrance returns to Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in 2015 for an encore presentation of “The Blues Project", with her company of all-star dancers, featuring soloists Derick K. Grant and Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, and stirring, soulful music performed live by renowned folk/blues composer Toshi Reagon and her band BIGLovely. This engagement is part of Dorrance Dance’s first major tour of New England, which will include appearances at The Flynn Center for Performing Arts, Wesleyan University Center for the Arts, The Yard, and Bates Dance Festival.
