KCP Presents

Kingdom County Productions will present the Lucky Plush performance of "Queue," a novella-style dance theater work drawing from the choreography and staging of early 20th century slapstick, vaudeville, and one-act plays. In the communal spaces of a staged airport, plots unfold and intersect, and characters become embroiled in each other’s lives. A new storyline emerges and accumulates into a long-form arc. The Queue clashes highly theatrical forms with the distinctly non-theatrical context of waiting to playfully stage private dramas slipping into public spectacle. The Queue also features live music by the Claudettes and a local choir.
