Lucky Plush Productions comes to the Vineyard for the first time, opening The Yard's 2015 three-week festival framework 'Women in Vaudeville.' The festival lands multiple female artists working with and in vaudevillian related themes/styles over a three week concentrated festival, with overlapping creation residency. Julia Rhoads brings her brilliant piece 'The Queue.' The Yard will engage Vineyard community participants in the 'Queue Choir' as part of two performances, while writer Leslie Danzig provides an essay on some of the history of Vaudeville and women within the form, contextualizing, for three New England partners, Ms. Rhoads' work within the theme and The Yard's festival ideas.
