Maui Arts & Cultural Center will host Sean Dorsey Dance for an evening public performance of The Missing Generation; a master dance class, all level trans-friendly dance workshop; and a“Dance Your Story” a self-expression workshops for LGBTQ people and people living with HIV/AIDS; and a Dance Talk, open to the public who who are interested in having conversations with Dorsey. The Missing Generation explores the contemporary impact of losing an entire generation of gay and transgender people to AIDS during the 1980-90's. A powerful original score features the voices and remarkable real-life stories of lovers, survivors, and early AIDS activists.
