Florida Dance Association will produce the 2016 Florida Dance Festival (FDF) June 18 – June 26. 2016 The festival will feature a residency with AXIS Dance Company, one of the world’s most acclaimed and innovative ensembles of performers with and without disabilities. Axis a pioneer in physically integrated dance, and a model of integration in art and in society that transforms perceptions about dance and disability. The nine day residency will include four components: a performance; daily classes for festival participants; an outreach experience to local veterans; and a two day teacher intensive.
