Dance Place

Over the past 27 years, AXIS has paved the way for physically integrated dance with its groundbreaking choreography and commitment to community building. This project will facilitate equal access for both abled and disabled dancers in the classroom by providing master classes for a wide range of students, tailoring to each student’s individual abilities. The project will also expose the Washington, DC community to professional dancers of different abilities, broadening the cultural perspective of our audiences. We are thrilled that AXIS will be performing a new work, “to go again,” choreographed by Joe Goode.
