PRESENT YOUR CREATIVE ECONOMY INITIATIVE AT THE 2013 CCX!
Join your fellow New England creative and cultural leaders at the 2013 CCX to exchange innovative ideas, strengthen our network, and share practical how-to advice on building our creative communities. Your workshops will highlight "creative place-making" initiatives from cities and towns of ALL sizes throughout the region. Help your peers explore the abundant creative assets of New England and learn how - through connections, influence, vision, leadership, and patience - the creative sector continues to breathe life and opportunity into the region.

About CCX
The Creative Communities Exchange (CCX) is a peer exchange to share successes, challenges, and lessons learned from New England creative economy initiatives. Creative and cultural leaders share practical information about implementing creative economy initiatives. The workshops and networking provide participants with actionable tools that can be executed to strengthen their own communities.

The 2013 CCX will immerse participants in Portland's vibrant Arts District, a downtown area that has experienced a remarkable story of revitalization through a focus on the arts, culture, education and creative inspiration. The event is produced by NEFA and local hosts: the Creative Portland Corporation, the Maine Center for Creativity, and the Greater Portland Convention and Visitors Bureau.
NEFA supports artists with grants and professional resources; establishes vital connections between artists, arts programmers, and the public; and strengthens the region's creative economy through research that informs public policy.
