On February 5-6, 2016, ECA will organize a 2 day residency with AXIS Dance Company, in collaboration with community partners. The residency will include an interactive rehearsal of AXIS’s newly-commissioned piece "to go again" for veterans, their families and friends; a public performance by AXIS Dance Company at ECA, followed by a Q&A; and a free "Community Dance Jam" for participants of all ages and abilities. With the objective that "to go again: is a catalyst – and a lens through which to discuss the experiences and challenges of veterans and their families – the AXIS residency aims to engage the community in a conversation around broader themes of resiliency, disability & accessibility.
