San Francisco Performances working with Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in a co-presentation of Sankai Juku; the company will be performing their latest work UMUSUNA (Memories Before History), a potent meditation on birth, life and death. Sankai Juku made its San Francisco debut with SF Performances in
2006 and returned in 2011. There will be three performances plus an onstage conversation with the company and Bay Area butoh practitioners.
