Split Knuckle Theatre Company is a critically acclaimed company that creates dynamic, physical, visually striking theatre from simple materials. At their UMass Fine Arts Center residency they will present their piece Endurance which relates the difficulties of a modern day insurance man, struggling to justify his recent promotion and save his employees jobs, to the experience of explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton who managed to keep 27 men alive for two years while trapped in Antartica. In addition to the performance the company will work with students and businesses exploring themes of leadership, cooperative team work and management.
