Vilar Performing Arts Center

There will be three performances of Out of Bounds with Q&A/talk-back sessions after each and focused workshops for specific classes. On February 1, 2016, there is a public performance for family audiences, parents, teachers, principals and youth workers. The performance weaves together video, comic books, and interviews to talk about adults who feel powerless to help their kids. The following day, February 2, 2016, there are two shorter performances telling the same story but from the point of view of a young girl and her peers. These performances are for students in grades 5–9. The residency is a great launching pad for conversations about bullying in this age of social media.
