Duke Performances will host Trisha Brown Dance Company as part of a weeklong residency from Monday, October 24 through Sunday, October 30, 2016, culminating in six site-specific performances of “Trisha Brown: In Plain Site,” with two performances per day, October 28 through October 30, at Duke Gardens, Duke Campus Farm, and the Nasher Museum of Art. TBDC will also participate in residency engagement with the Duke and Durham community including: master classes with the Dance Program; class visits in Dance, Art, Art History, and Visual Studies, and other disciplines; public conversations; screenings of Trisha Brown’s films; and an intensive on site-specific work for Duke student dancers.
