The Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston

In November 2017, the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston (ICA) will present choreographer Faye Driscoll's Thank You For Coming: Play. The ICA has been an active participant in the development of Play, the second in Driscoll's series of works that heighten how we experience ourselves in relation to other bodies, stories, and spaces. In Play the ritual of storytelling is forced to the forefront of a physically-driven dance-play to examine how we rely on stories to relate to one another and form identities as individuals and citizens. At the ICA, there will be three performances, pre- and post-talks, workshops and meetings with teens and local artists and choreographers.
