Vermont Performance Lab (VPL) will present “A Gun Show,” a new interdisciplinary work created by So Percussion that calls attention to society’s complicated relationship to guns. VPL is working with a consortium of six New England presenters who will also present “A Gun Show” during their 2016/17 seasons, touring to six New England venues. All partners are working closely to coordinate community engagement and working with diverse local partners to engage their local communities and students in this hot-button issue. VPL will collaborate with local Windham County, Vermont organizations to produce outreach events to engage its community with the artists and their work.
