Gerard & Kelly (Brennan Gerard and Ryan Kelly) will travel to EMPAC in Troy, NY, to work with a team of five collaborators and EMPAC's staff to develop a multi-channel video installation coming out of their project MODERN LIVING. Shot on location at the Schindler House in West Hollywood, CA, and The Glass House in New Canaan, CT, the video installation documents performances at these two sites and will accompany all future performances of the project, including at DiverseWorks in Houston, TX, in 2017. Gerard & Kelly will use the production residency to edit video and sound, design projections, and build an installation that choreographs the viewer through a house made of walls of video.
