Center for the Art of Performance at UCLA

CAP UCLA will enlist partners in a week long residency of the Trisha Brown Dance company, March 4-11, 2017 focusing on important early, site-specific choreographic works to be recreated throughout Los Angeles in collaboration with leading art institutions and public works – UCLA Campus, LACMA, and The Broad. This residency will also include a focus on education, master classes, Trisha’s archive, exhibition of her work, and documentation of the selected choreographies. This 2016-2017 proposed residency follows a recent and unprecedented CAP UCLA curated platform of Trisha Brown’s important stage and site-specific works during the 2013-2014 season at CAP UCLA.
