Jorge Arce's Cultural Plenazo Bombazo Project celebrates Puerto Rican and Afro-Caribbean cultural heritage. The Plenazo Bombazo project will consist of a series of workshops Puerto-Rican-Plena Music and Bomba Music and co-hosted by Hyde Square Task Force.
It will culminate in a public concert in Mozart Park, Jamaica Plain on June 30, 2016 with community and stage performances of 20 professionals that belongs to the band "Raiz de Plena" and the dance ensemble "BombaSankofa" Dance and Music Troupe.
Community Arts Advocates, Inc. has been nominated by Jorge Arce for this Community Partner award for their ongoing support of the Cultural Plenazo Bombazo Project.
