In spring 2017, the ACES Educational Center for the Arts (ECA) will host ANIKAYA Dance Theater’s Wendy Jehlen and Lacina Coulibaly for a two-week residency, during which they will perform “Entangling” and conduct workshops with our students. The artists will lead students in the creation and performance of site-responsive choreography. In particular, Jehlen and Coulibaly will focus on listening strategies and the development and adherence to improvisational movement scores.
