Hibernian Hall

Hibernian Hall hosted the performances of El Gato con Botas, an all-ages Spanish musical theater production, providing in-kind staffing, publicity, theater tech, custodial & venue rental for seven shows in three days at its ballroom in Dudley Square, Roxbury. This family-friendly one-act fairy tale with music & fantastical puppetry was well received. Synopsis: Gato is a scruffy pet cat who teaches his poor master to believe in the impossible. When he puts on boots & dresses for success, he leads audiences on a rags-to-riches adventure. Along the way he meets a savvy princess, a nasty ogre & a parade of magical shoes brought to life as animals. Sung in Spanish with English super titles.
