Aaron Jafferis, spoken-word poet and playwright, will spend a week in Tamworth, presenting, teaching, and performing literary works around the themes of race, class, ancestry and immigration. His residency will include five days of workshops with grades K-8 at the Brett School, an evening community workshop and teacher workshop, mini performance at the school, and a final performance of his piece, Smooth Criminal, featuring beatboxer, Yako440, on Friday evening. Additionally, Aaron will serve as a guest minister during the local Unitarian Universalist Fellowship's Sunday services.
