Hyde Square Task Force (HSTF) is thrilled to partner with Paloma Valenzuela through a $1,000 NEFA Community Partner Award to screen the locally-famous Pineapple Diaries in our newly-renovated Youth Community Development Center (YCDC). Paloma and her collaborators have created a compelling art form which resonates with our history as a proud Afro-Latinx community organization in Boston’s Latin Quarter in Jamaica Plain, and with the rich heritage of our neighborhood. We are happy to host and publicize a free screening open to the public, so that the youth leaders, families members, and neighbors can come together to watch the latest episodes and season finale, and to participate in a talk-back
