Avery Sharpe will be in residence as a master teacher and performer at Litchfield Jazz Camp from July 16 to August 4, 2017. He will lead student combos, master and theory classes, appear on artist panels and give public performances with other faculty members. On August 6th, he will participate in the Litchfield Jazz Festival whose theme for 2017 is Discovering Genius. He will appear with the outstanding, emerging young pianist and composer Joe Alterman with Matt Wilson on drums.
