Midland African American Roots Historical/Cultural Arts Council, Inc.

Midland African American Historical Roots Cultural Arts Council together with the Lubbock Historical Roots Arts Council will bring Dance Theatre of Harlem to West Texas for 2 Master Classes, 2 Lecture-Demonstrations and one public performance during the second week of May 2017. "System" will be performed during the public performance on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center. Each community will have one Master Class and one Lecture-Demonstration before and after the public performance. The classes will afford local dancers the opportunity to train aside professional company members and the lecture-demonstrations will teach local students more about dance.
