The Creative City application is now live, and with the final application deadline of the program’s pilot phase just over two months away (11:59PM EDT on Monday, September 25, 2017, to be exact), it’s not too early for Boston-area artists to start thinking through their projects! NEFA is hosting a series of information sessions for those interested in learning about and applying for the program.
These free information sessions are designed to help artists prepare applications. Attendance is not required to apply for Creative City. Participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the program background and the grant guidelines in advance. Artists are welcome to bring project ideas and questions about the application process to a Creative City info session.

Registration is strongly encouraged, as sessions may be cancelled if registration is low.
Creative City supports artists to create projects of all disciplines that take place in the public realm in the city of Boston. Creative City projects integrate public participation into the artistic process and/or presentation of the work. Creative City supports individual artists, artist collectives, and artistic collaborations in all disciplines and with roots in diverse cultures, forms, and aesthetics. Grants range from $2,500-$10,000.
