Mississippi State University - Riley Center

The MSU Riley Center will present an evening performance of Urban Bush Woman presenting their work, Hair and other Stories on Tuesday, March 6th at 7:30 PM. This performance is part of a three day residency that begins on Monday, March 5th and concludes on Wed. March 7th. We plan to also host the Artistic Director this fall to spend a day in Meridian planning the details of our residency. We hope to work out community engagement activities, a school day experience for school children and possibly workshops or lec-dem with area dance schools and dance programs. The Director's visit and residency is partially supported by a grant from South Arts as part of their Dance Tour Initiative.
