Choregus Productions

in the shelter of the fold, Doug Varone’s latest project, is an intensely intimate work that explores the many forms of faith and belief, as well as the acts of coping, realization, choice, and the expectations attached to it. Built from episodic, stand-alone vignettes for 1-14 dancers, this 40-minute work includes a community component option to include local dancers in public performances at each tour location.
Choregus Productions will present Doug Varone and Dancers performing this and other works as part of the 2018 Summer Heat International Dance Festival. In addition to the public performance the company will conduct a master class and other outreach activities.
