The Dance Complex

Supper, People on the Move! is a site-specific performance with audience participation that poses questions about immigration. Supper connects dance to the deeply personal experiences of immigrants and unfolds like a journey, focusing attention on the often-ignored entanglements and endurance associated with dislocation. In our version at The Dance Complex, we explore the work touring our 5 story, 7 studio building as a means to literally and metaphorically support the themes of the work, how we travel from place to place, who has access to a place and how we engage deeply in the questions the work brings to us.
